Dr. Krings graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from Nebraska Wesleyan University. She spent two years working in neuro-oncology research at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) and was a published author in 1992. She then decided to continue her education and graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis School of Optometry in 1996 with her Doctorate.
Dr. Krings received an award in 1996 for her Contact Lens Clinical Research. She is a member of Beta Sigma Kappa which is the International Optometric Honor Fraternity. Dr. Krings is also a member of the Nebraska Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. She has served on the Board of Directors and as President of the Arc of Platte County and served on the Health Services Advisory Committee for Central Nebraska Community Services (CNCS). Dr. Krings and her husband Russ enjoy spending their free time hunting and fishing.
